MTVCraft is an open-source artificial intelligence framework for generating videos with synchronized audio from text prompts. Our Services include:

3. Open Source License

MTVCraft is released under the Apache License 2.0. This means you are free to:

  • Patent Use: Grant of patent rights from contributors

However, you must:

You retain all rights to content you create using MTVCraft. However, you are solely responsible for:

  • Ensuring you have rights to input data and prompts
  • Complying with applicable laws regarding generated content
  • Obtaining necessary permissions for commercial use
  • Properly attributing sources and complying with licenses

5.2 Our Intellectual Property

While MTVCraft code is open source, our trademarks, logos, and branding remain our property. The "MTVCraft" name and logo may not be used without explicit permission, except as required for attribution under the Apache License.

6. Third-Party Services and APIs

MTVCraft integrates with third-party services including but not limited to:

  • Qwen API: For text processing and prompt decomposition
  • ElevenLabs API: For audio synthesis
  • Hugging Face: For model hosting and distribution
  • GitHub: For code repository hosting

Your use of these third-party services is subject to their respective terms of service and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the availability, performance, or policies of third-party services. You may need to obtain your own API keys and accounts to use certain features.

7. Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability

7.1 No Warranties

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR ACCURACY.

We do not warrant that:

  • The Services will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
  • Results will be accurate, complete, or reliable
  • Any errors or defects will be corrected
  • The Services will meet your specific requirements

7.2 Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES.

Our total liability to you for all claims arising from or related to the Services shall not exceed $100 USD or the amount you paid us in the past 12 months, whichever is greater.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless MTVCraft, its contributors, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

  • Your use or misuse of the Services
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of any rights of another party
  • Content you generate using MTVCraft

9. Research and Academic Use

MTVCraft is designed primarily for research and educational purposes. If you use MTVCraft in academic research, we kindly request that you cite our work:

10. Privacy and Data Collection

11. Termination

We reserve the right to:

  • Suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time

You may stop using the Services at any time. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property rights, disclaimers, and limitations of liability) will continue to apply.

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any other legal notices published by us on the Services, constitute the entire agreement between you and MTVCraft regarding the Services and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
